Tanaska stands about 4'11" and weighs around 164 lbs 5 oz. She has long brown hair and brown eyes. Her usual outfit has a proliferation of pink and a cherry blossom motif. She usually wears simple wooden sandals with soft, doeskin insoles.

Personality: A quiet girl, Tana has very little to say to most people. Though very caring and considerate of others, she generally keeps to herself, though she is quite outgoing with her friends Hiryukiba and Shinju. She dislikes fighting, but wont hesitate to do so. She really likes strawberry icecream, especially when it starts to warm up and get a little soft. She dreams of one day becoming a great medical ninja. Her greatest fear is that her old clan will come for her, perhaps accompanied by her cousin, Kimimaro. Though she is also afraid of bugs. And frogs... And snakes... Rats...

History: Tanaka was born a few years after her cousin, Kimimaro. She was being trained in her clan's bloodthirsty ways but, having no stomach for it, fled at her earliest oppurtunity.
She was found nearly naked and more than half dead by a rice farmer tending his patties. The farmer took her to his village and everyone soon fell in love with the child's shy, caring nature and the farmer's family adopted her, giving her their family name.
One year, when she was but ten years old, a terrible plant-disease caused by tainted water in the patties killed all the rice her father had planted, leaving them with no choice but to move to nearby Konohagakure, the Village Hidden in the Leaves. She soon became fascinated by the ninja arts and pleaded with her parents to allow her to join the Acadamy. At first they were reluctant, but when she accidentally manifested her Shikatsumyaku it became clear that she belonged in the world of the ninja. She graduated from the Acadamy only recently and still lives with her adoptive parents, who now run a small ramen shop with their other daughter.

Dance of the Bell Tree - Tana uses her bone sword to strike the enemy with amazing speed at different vital areas of their body.
Dance of the Larch - Tana uses this jutsu to create a mass of razor-sharp bone spikes all over her body. Useful for cutting ropes, and dealing with "grabby" foes.
Dance of the Willow - More of a fighting style, Tanaka grows long bone-blades from her palms, knees, elbows and shoulders. This dance form is incredibly acrobatic, using spins, charges, and long sweeping slashes to make the strikes more effective and to evade opponents' counter attacks.

Ninja Art: Profusion of Flowers - Creates a cloud of cherry blossoms around the victim(s), obscuring their vision.
Demonic Illusion: Cherry Hell Viewing - The user is surrounded by a whirling cloud of cherry blossoms, which fall away in a few moments. Thereafter, a horrific (to the viewer) illusion sets in, unique to each viewer.
Demonic Illusion: False Surroundings - Changes the appearance of the surrounding area, or of a nearby person or object, to dissorient the victim.
Flower Ninja Art: Maximum Blossom Cutting - Tana surrounds the victim with a whirling cloud of cherry blossoms and darkens everything outside the cloud, following this illusion with a single aimed attack to a vital area, usually a slash across an artery.

Water Clone - Tana can create a duplicate of herself using water.
Transform - Assume the appearance of another person.
Replacement - Tana can trade position with a log or rock to evade an attack.
Fire Style: Flame Bullet - A basic fire technique, a stream of flame is expelled from the user's mouth.
Cherry Blossom Body Flicker - Allows the user to traverse short distances at near untraceable speeds. Tana uses a cloud of chakra-generated illusury cherry blossoms to conceal herself and distract her opponent
